    Short trivia and short discussion about short stories. Remember reading Dr. Seuss as a child, well they might not be quiet what you remember. In celebration of the autho's birthday, we will be discussing several of Dr. Seuss’ sharp witted, insightful stories that have some slightly underlying political tones. Our featured short stories will be The Sneetches, Butter Battle, The Lorax, and Yertle the Turtle. Light appetizers provided, but buy your own beverage. You need not have read any or none to join us for some trivia, cake, and fun!

    All Ages An exciting evening storytime for the whole family. Join us for "STORIES OFF THE SHELF!” with local storytelling artist, Karen Wendt! Enjoy puppet plays with great picture book stories and interactive storytelling. Get creative with a make-your-own-puppet craft at the end of the program. Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring their adults and older siblings. We will have some great books available for checkout after the program so that you can go home and perform puppet shows together.

  13. STEAM Power: Binary Bracelet

    Ages 5+ Kids will explore binary code by creating a star bead bracelet. We’ll use two different kinds of beads, each bead representing 1 or 0 in Binary to spell out the word star. They’ll come home with knowledge and an accessory!
