Citizen appointments to city boards, committees and commissions are made by the Mayor, and considered for approval by the City Council. Members of the boards are appointed based on their background and interest in a particular field and are expected to attend all advisory meetings. Those who miss three consecutive meetings in a calendar year may be replaced.
Please submit this form at least seven business days prior to the Council meeting in which the Mayor will be making appointments. Application does not guarantee appointment, and will be used for guidelines to make appointments.
If you have any questions, please contact City Hall at 105 N. Dickason Blvd., Columbus, Wisconsin 53925. Or call (920) 623-5900.
"I encourage Columbus residents to consider volunteer serving on one of our many boards, committees or commissions. These groups provide a direct, valuable resource by making recommendations to the Common Council. I welcome anyone wanting to learn more about the process of city government, and opportunities are available that appeal to almost all interests or skill sets. Please fill out the form below."
