[ARCHIVED] CITY OFFERS PLACES FOR WARMING DURING EXTREME COLD

With extreme cold weather conditions expected in the next few days, the City of Columbus would like to remind residents that the Columbus Senior Center and the Public Library are available as warming centers if need be.  The Senior Center is open from 8 am–5 pm Mon thru Fri, & the Library is open Mon-Thurs 9 am–8:30 pm and on Friday 9 am–5:30 pm & Saturday 9 am–1 pm  Also, the Firemens Park Pavilion is open daily for walkers (which can also be used for warming) from 7 am-3:30 pm.
