[ARCHIVED] Library and Community Center are Closed Due to Weather

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Columbus, WI, and surrounding areas. Snow is expected Wed. into Thu. with potential snowfall accumulations for the Columbus area currently forecasted at potentially 3" or more.

Due to inclement weather conditions the Columbus Public Library will be closed Wednesday, February 22, 2023.  The Columbus Community Center will be closed Wednesday, February 22 and Thursday, February 23, 2023, and will not have senior programs or activities or county meal programs while the Community Center is closed.

“As per the National Weather Service and its forecast - The City of Columbus has declared a Snow Emergency.” All residents should remove their vehicles from all city streets prior to the start of this event. Parking restrictions on city streets, alleys, and parking lots as per ordinance will be enforced starting at 10:00 PM Wednesday, February 22nd, 2023, and will be enforced until Snow Emergency is complete (48 hours) or has been rescinded.
