The Columbus Area Community is encouraged to join the City of Columbus and the Military Order of the Purple Heart in bringing recognition and support to recipients of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. We will be having a recognition ceremony on 11 November 2022 at the Civil War Monument on Dickason Blvd. from 5:00-5:30 pm. 

The program schedule is as follows: Welcome (Krakow) March on of colors (MCL Color Guard) National Anthem (Ann Vincent, Columbus High School) Reading of Resolution (Krakow) - lighting of purple lights Remarks (Mayor Arnold) Closing (Krakow).

This event will be recorded for broadcast on Spectrum Cable channel 980 and made available on the City's broadcast platform, Columbus Cable's Facebook page.
