[ARCHIVED] Columbus Courtside Organization is Taking Registrations for Youth Basketball

The Columbus Courtside Organization (CCO) is currently offering youth basketball for 4th - 8th grade boys.  Registration is due by October 14, 2022. The CCO strives to provide a balanced Youth Boys Basketball Program for boys in the Columbus School District. The CCO's goal is to offer each participant an opportunity to experience and learn the game of basketball while improving their overall skills.

The registration fee $150 per player with $30 of the registration fee returned to parent volunteers to work a 4 hour shift (per player) at the Badger Development League (BDL) Tournament on December 10th and 11th. Parents can work in concession stands, scorer's tables or admissions. An opportunity to sign up via email will be offered closer to the date of the tournament.

There will be a parent meeting for all parents of participating 4th - 8th grade youth basketball players taking place Monday, October 10th at 7:00pm at Columbus Elementary School. Please plan on attending to hear more about the program, the BDL and other information regarding the upcoming season.

Please register for the 2022-23 Youth Basketball Season by going to www.columbusbasketball.com where you will need to create a SportsEngine account if you do not already have one. Registration is open through October 14th with practices beginning early November. 4th grade players will need to order uniforms and can be coordinated by the CCO through Cardinal Embroidery. Parents are responsible for the additional cost. Players typically use their uniforms for at least a few years and some through 8th grade.

Questions regarding registration may be directed by email to columbuscourtside@gmail.com
