Here is your weekly update on the 2016 Street Project, for September 15th:
A Note – information on the upcoming activities with the project are subject to change due to weather or other factors that unexpectedly arise. This report is to give you a sense of what is planned for the near future for each part of the project, as adjustments sometime need to be made to address emergencies or for efficiency reasons.
Property Owners,
Most of this week has been dedicated to repairs to the road surfaces on Mill and Birdsey (regrading due to rains last week) and continued concrete installations of curb & gutter in those same areas. There was also some individual concrete pieces that needed correcting which was slated for work this week as well.
Asphalt Paving: as mentioned above, continued grading along Mill & Birdsey went alongside other preparations for Asphalt Paving, which is planned for next week. At this time, I do not have a confirmed time for that to take place but will try to share when I received this information.
Terrace Restorations: Landscapers are expected next week to keep working on terrace areas all around the project.
As always, all schedules and work plans are dependent on the weather conditions.
If anyone knows someone wanting to receive these weekly updates – please have them share their email address to pvandersanden@columbuswi.us. Or, if you no longer wish to receive them, you can let me know that as well.
Thank you, as always, for your patience on this important public infrastructure project.
