[ARCHIVED] Notice to Claim Missing Money

NOTICE

FROM: Police Chief Dennis Weiner

Pursuant to Section 170.105 of the Wisconsin Statutes, notice is hereby given that US currency was found within the city limits of the City of Columbus on May 16, 2022 at approximately 6:30 p.m. in the 100 block of N. Ludington Street. Any person purporting to be the owner of the lost money may appear in person at the address set forth below within 90 days after the date of this notice and make out his or her right to the found money.  If the person proves the money belongs to him or her, he or she shall have restitution of the money upon paying all of the costs and charges on the money.  If no owner appears within 90 days after the date of this notice, the found money shall become the property of the City of Columbus.
