Underground work on phase 1 (the north portion of the project) began April 11, 2022.  Phase 1 is estimated to be completed by July 1, 2022 based on favorable weather conditions and construction status.  The Columbus Department of Public Works has issued the following updates:

The week of 4/18 involved the following work on the water main at Folsom Street, sanitary sewer laterals between Folsom Street and Poet Street, and sanitary sewer main between Poet Street and Park Street.

The week of 4/25 involves work on the sanitary sewer main between Poet Street and Park Street along with the water main north of Poet Street.

STH 89 / Farnham Street is still closed to general motorists.  Residents and those who need to access the preschool will still have access.
