The Columbus Recreation Department is announcing that basketball has been cancelled tonight for 2nd and 3rd grade at Columbus Elementary School due to school district closing and the weather.
The Columbus School District made the decision that school district buildings will be closed starting at 5:00 pm tonight through tomorrow night. Any activities scheduled prior to this must end at 5:00 pm tonight. Any activities scheduled for after 5:00 pm tonight and all Tuesday must be cancelled. This decision was made as a result of the Winter Weather Advisory for our area.
Normal activities will resume Wednesday except for the High School Main Gym. The girls varsity regional basketball game will be scheduled in the main gym Wednesday night. 2nd and 3rd grade basketball will be held normally on Wednesday, February 23rd at the elementary school.
