Due to frigid temperatures, the City of Columbus will be opening its warming shelter, located at the Community Center, 161 N Dickason Blvd. starting Thursday, January 6, 2022.
This will be a 24/7 shelter for anyone in need.
The Columbus Public Library can also be utilized as a warming shelter during library hours.
If anyone in the city needs a warming shelter for any reason this winter, the Emergency Management Director can be reached at 920-350-5818. She is available at anytime to assist.
