[ARCHIVED] Winter Weather Advisory 12/29 to 12/30

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning in effect for the City of Columbus from December 29 at 4:00 PM to December 30 at noon. In residential areas, after the snow reaches 2 inches, no vehicle shall be parked on the street until the street has been cleared of snow from curb to curb. Any vehicles parked on the street after 2 inches and prior to the streets being cleared can be issued a citation. Once the 2-inch rule has gone into effect for this storm, it will not be lifted until streets are cleared. Please see attached link for Winter Parking Regulations. Drive safe!

As a reminder, please do not place trash cans in the street during a snow event. To avoid them being damaged by a plow truck, please place them at the end of your driveway apron or on the curb on your scheduled pickup day. Thank you!
