[ARCHIVED] City of Columbus Seeks Candidates for Alders and Mayor

Interested in how local government works?  Here is your chance to find out!  The City of Columbus is seeking interested residents to run for alderperson  and Mayor. Nomination packets are available in the Clerk's office (by appointment) or on the City's website under the Clerk's page.

Those seeking office as alderperson will need 20-40 signatures from your district; those seeking the office of Mayor will need 50-100 signatures within the City limits.

All original nomination papers and signatures are due January 5, 2021 in the Clerk's office.  Since City Hall is closed to the public at this time, please call 920-623-5900 for an appointment to turn in nomination papers.
