[ARCHIVED] Pay By Drop box for Dog Licenses and Tax Payments

City Hall is currently CLOSED to the public

Please use the drop box for the following: 

Property Tax Payments
Please provide the following

  • Phone number, email address
  • Corresponding stub from the tax bill
  • Check or money order made payable to the City of Columbus

(only include tax payment on this check)

No cash payments – please take to F&M Union Bank to process

Alternate property tax payment sites = both F&M Union Bank Columbus locations

Tax receipts can be found on the Columbia County website.  Visit the City of Columbus website to find detailed instructions.

Dog Licenses

Please provide the following

  • Name, address, phone number, email address, dog(s) name(s)
  • Rabies Certificate for each dog
  • Cash or check made payable to the City of Columbus


    • $10 per dog / spayed or neutered
    • $15 per dog / unaltered

Please call us to schedule a dog license pick up 

Note:  late fee applies after April 1
