The Columbus Police Department is requesting the assistance of the public in an attempt to identify those responsible for the thefts from vehicles that occurred in the city the late evening of June 15 and early morning hours of June 16.

General areas struck include Waterloo St, S. Spring St and several other streets in those areas. Residents in those areas who may have video cameras or video doorbells that capture motion are asked to check them for any vehicles or persons that appear suspicious between 11pm on June 15 and 5 am on June 16. After reviewing the video clips we were able to get, it appears there may have been 2 separate groups, likely working together.

We are committing a great deal of resources to this situation. These are often difficult to solve for a variety of reasons and we are asking for your help.
