Please do not place large items at your curb yet! Public Works is suspending bulk-item dumpster drop-off and curbside collection until the week of May 26th. Columbia County Solid Waste and Recycling has rescheduled bulk-item pick up to the week of June 22nd.
The Landscape Recycling Center is open for business the following hours:
Monday: 1 PM to 6 PM
Wednesday: 1 PM to 6 PM
Saturday: 8 AM to 3 PM
The Landscape Recycling Center is located at N3642 River Road. Residents must first visit City Hall for a sticker, or bring proof of residency to the center. The Landscape Recycling Center accepts only leaves, yard waste clippings, brush, yard waste, oil, and vehicle batteries. Landscaping fabric, rocks, rail road ties, boards or 2x4s, wood chips, and barrels are NOT accepted.
TV and appliance drop off will ONLY be accepted on July 18, September 19, and November 21. Residents must first visit City Hall or the Public Works office to purchase a $30 item sticker per item dropped off. Washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters, TVs, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, air conditioning units, microwaves, and dehumidifiers will be accepted.
