The Columbus Library was an approved absentee voting site for the 2020 Spring Election, but because the Library is closed indefinitely for the protection of patrons and staff alike, in-person/absentee voting locations have changed. City Hall will be the only location for the 2020 Spring Election and will have extended hours to accommodate as many people as possible.
In Person/Absentee Voting: City Hall is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm for in-person/absentee voting through Thursday, April 2 and until 5:00 pm April 3. City Hall will also be open until 8:00 pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays March 19 - April 2.
Electors must be a registered voter before voting in-person or requesting an absentee ballot, and an acceptable photo ID will be required to receive a ballot.
Voter Registration will also be available in City Hall Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm through April 2, and until 5:00 pm April 3. City Hall will also be open evenings until 8:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays March 19 - April 2.
If an elector would like to register to vote, a voter registration application is available here, and acceptable proof of residence is required.
No Voter Registration can take place outside of the Clerk’s office after March 18, except at the polls on Election Day. This includes all mailed applications post-marked after March 18.
