[ARCHIVED] What's With All the Stakes on Farnham Street?

What's with all the stakes on Farnham Street?

Starting the week of September 9th, representatives from TerraVentures will be in Columbus to place stakes along the public right-of-way along Farnham Street (State Highway 89). This project is due to some preparatory work for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s (WisDOT) 2022 reconstruction of State Highway 89, from Park Avenue to Avalon Road.

TerraVentures was provided the opportunity to appraise property for WIsDOT so that all access easements and other property adjustments are put in place before the project. For those who remember the 2017 James Street project, similar activities were necessary in leading up to the actual road work. The City of Columbus thanks you for your patience as we prepare for this important public infrastructure upgrade. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Columbus City Hall at 920-623-5900.
