Here is your weekly update on the 2016 Street Project, for June 9th:

Charles Street: Restoration work has been continuing, and will continue through next week, for Charles, Prairie and Church Streets. The paving of the surface, or top course of asphalt is now expected to happen the week of June 20th.

Prairie & Church Streets: Concrete work should be complete on Prairie, and is expected to be wrapped up this week on Church Street. The restoration of terraces and sidewalk areas will continue there through next week.

Mill Street: Keeps trudging along with water and sewer utility installation. Important note: we understand there has been some interruptions and issues with trash & recycling collection. Some of the confusion was with the waste collection vendor believing that the pickup day for Mill Street was Wednesday, but we have confirmed it to be Tuesday, as it always has been (I understand some new people were confused). Anyway, please place your garbage & recycling out like normal, the contractor is working very hard to help the waste collection vendor to manage the pickup as smoothly as possible.

Birdsey Street: Nothing yet to report, but soon.
