[ARCHIVED] Over the Holidays can I still pay my taxes?

CITY OF COLUMBUS

OFFICE BUSINESS HOURS FOR TAX COLLECTIONS

Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm 

The City offices will be closed for business on the following days to observe the holidays:

Monday, December 24, 2018          Tuesday, December 25, 2018

Monday, December 31, 2018                          Tuesday, January 1, 2019

All payments postmarked December 31, 2018 will be processed on the date received but will be shown as paid in 2018. 

Payments placed in the drop box at the City Hall (lobby area closest to James Street) between close of business December 28th thru January 1st, 2019 will be considered 2019 payments and receipted in 2019.  

To ensure receipt in 2018, please use either Farmers & Merchants Bank locations (both are open on the 29th and the 31st of December) or use the online method through Payment Service Network with credit card, debit card or e-check (listed below).

For Your Added Convenience

FARMERS & MERCHANTS UNION BANK will also be collecting taxes for the City of Columbus at both of the Columbus locations during regular business hours through January, 31, 2019.  IMPORTANT: Please be sure to bring your tax bill to ensure proper credit!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                           OR

There will be a convenience fee charged for this service not paid to the City of Columbus.
