The City of Columbus Police and Fire Commission invite all interested city residents to a community forum on Thursday, July 12 from 6PM until 8PM at the Columbus Area Senior Center. The purpose of this forum will be to hear input from residents on what they would like to see in terms of both character and practice in the next police chief for the city.
The forum will be facilitated by Dale Burke and Deb Hettrick of the Riseling Group, a consulting firm retained by the Columbus Police and Fire Commission to assist with the recruitment and hiring process for the next police chief.
This forum is open to all residents of the city and will commence promptly at 6PM. Those wishing to speak should plan to arrive no later than 7PM as input will cease at 8PM. Time allowances for speakers will be determined by the number of persons in attendance who have indicated a desire to provide input. Written comments are welcome as well and will be accepted by the Riseling Group representatives during the meeting.
