[ARCHIVED] Arbor Day Celebration/Spring Clean Up is April 28

The Columbus Department of Public Works is excited to announce this year’s Arbor Day Festival on April 28. The festival is a chance take care of our environment and celebrate spring with friends and neighbors from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Fireman’s Park Pavilion.

There will be areas to recycle old TVs, appliances, electronics, eyeglasses and more. For a pricing guide to recycle these items, as well as a  check out this handy flier.

But there will be more than the chance to recycle. Public Works will have free mulch and Redbud seedlings for you to take home, plant and keep the Redbud City tradition growing strong in Columbus. A bluegrass band will be playing to keep you entertained, and a brat fry held to keep you fed as you browse the craft and vendor fair, bake and library book sales.

It is sure to be a blast. We hope to see you there!
