First ever CAAC Mini Triathlon ~ August 11, 2018
Kids age 6-15 Swim, Bike run (or walk) and have fun at our first ever Kids Triathlon. The course will take place within Fireman’s Park, providing a safe atmosphere for your kids. The CAAC is all about giving kids the opportunity to accomplish something fun and rewarding. In this spirit, every finisher is recognized with a custom medal and free ice cream. All participants also receive a cool T-shirt along with a Race Goody Bag filled with neat stuff. One ticket will be provided to each participant for a hotdog, bag of chips and a water bottle.

CAAC offers Levels 1 - 6 with various sessions throughout the season.
- Session one: June 18 - June 29
- Session two: July 9 - July 20
- Session three: July 31 - August 10
- Session four: August 13 - August 24 (4pm only Levels 1-6)

The Columbus Area Aquatic Center has a capacity of 792 swimmers. The outdoor, heated pool has a water surface area of 12,731 square feet and a volume of 389,110 gallons. Its beach style "zero-depth" entry is 124 feet wide and leads to a 12 feet 6 inches diving area. It contains a one meter diving board, A NEW drop Vortex Slide, 6 lanes by 25 yard lap area, plunge area for the water slide with room for the addition of an inner-tube flume. Our body water slide has a length of 135 feet, a drop of 17.2 feet and an average grade of 13.89%.
You'll never go hungry when visiting the concession stand at the aquatic center. Snack and dinner items including your favorite ice cream are served each and every day.
