We are hard at work prepping for the 2019 season.  Our 2019 brochure will be out soon ~ in the meantime save the following dates for some family fun at the CAAC!

July 14 our famous Ping Pong float:  The CAAC drops 1,000 ping pong balls into the pool, all randomly numbered.  When the whistle blows kids age 2-18 gather as many ping pongs as they can and turn those in for prizes!

August 9 is our Summer Beach Party:  Come and swim at the CAAC to a beach party theme.  Music provided by Steve Mecklenberg, games, prizes and duck races.  You don't want to miss!

August 18 is our back to school event:  Play games, win prizes and receive some FREE back to school supplies.  Each child to receive pens, pencils, erasers,folders and highlighters.  6 lucky winners will have a chance to win a backpack filled with prizes.

The only cost is your daily admission fee - everything else is FREE

Columbus Area Aquatic Center
Pool Amenities
The Columbus Area Aquatic Center has a capacity of 792 swimmers. The outdoor, heated pool has a water surface area of 12,731 square feet and a volume of 389,110 gallons. Its beach style "zero-depth" entry is 124 feet wide and leads to a 12 feet 6 inches diving area. It contains a one meter diving board, A NEW drop Vortex Slide, 6 lanes by 25 yard lap area, plunge area for the water slide with room for the addition of an inner-tube flume. Our body water slide has a length of 135 feet, a drop of 17.2 feet and an average grade of 13.89%.
The interactive water activities include and SCS Arch Jet, SCS Bar Jet and an SCS Pipe Fall each with individual moveable valves. Youngsters will enjoy themselves on the large Tot Slide and the individual grouped geysers. Swimmers of all ages may sit back in one of the many lounge chairs in the sun or under one of the many huge fun umbrellas to enjoy the cool shade.

You'll never go hungry when visiting the concession stand at the aquatic center. Snack and dinner items including your favorite ice cream are served each and every day.
