Property Taxes
Payment in full or first installment is due in this office
by January 31,2010. Please include a self addressed stamped envelope for return-receipt.
Payments made within 5 working days of the due date (01/31/10) will be considered timely.
However, this new law also means the payment must be in the hands of the treasurer by
the 5th working day, regardless of the postmark. All payments postmarked December 31, 2009,
will be receipted on the date received but will be shown as postmarked in 2009.

NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
All Dogs 5 months or older are required to be licensed as per Section #14-61(a) of the City Code.
Fees:
- Male or Female - $9.00;
- Neutered or Spayed - $4.00.
Evidence must be presented in the form of a current rabies vaccination certificate and for a neutered or spayed dog.
Owners who fail to obtain a license prior to February 1st of each year are subject to an additional fee of $5.00.
This is required by Section #14-61(j) of the City Code.
Section #14-62(a), requires all owners to have dogs vaccinated against rabies. A current rabies vaccination certificate is required.
Dogs must be vaccinated within 30 days after the dog reaches four months of age.
Kennel licenses are not available in the City of Columbus.

The Treasurer's Office is open Monday through Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
No business is conducted on Saturdays. We will be closed for business on the
